This Hertfordshire Water Tower required extensive repair following steel reinforcement corrosion and cracked concrete.

ACP were chosen sub-contractors to carry out repairs using Sika repair system consisting of polymer modified cementitious mortar, hand applied and finished to match existing profiles.

Following removal of all existing coatings by blast cleaning, a cementitous levelling mortar was spray applied to the surface of the tower and sponge finished to give a uniform texture.

Finally, this was followed by an acrylic protective coating.
